Prof. Dr. Med. Zech, Basel

Since its installation in May 2014, Prof. Dr. med. Zech and his team have been using 3D LNR to simplify and accelerate the wide range of CT interventions in hospital operations. First evaluations show clear advantages of 3D-LNR in comparison to freehand puncture.

At the RSNA 2015, the group around Prof. Dr. med. Zech (in the picture below with his team) presented first results of a study on 3D LNR. The use of 3D LNR halved the radiation exposure of patients and young colleagues were able to puncture with 3D LNR three times faster than before.

The LNR laser guides the instruments quickly and safely to the target, regardless of whether a simple drainage with axial access or a complicated tumor therapy with several double-angled needle passes has to be performed.

Dr. Hanemann, Berlin

„Since we use the 3D-LNR we are able to expand our range of services. Our number of patients and sales increased considerably.“.

Prof. Dr. GRÖNEMEYER

Prof. Dr. Grönemeyer has been working with 3D-LNR in his institute for years:

“The 3D-LNR faciliates the work immensely. The device is a must-have for ambitious CT interventionalists.”

Dr. Med. Reinwand, Köln

Dr. med. Ulrich Reinwand, medical specialist for diagnostic radiology, in charge of the radiology, Köln-Rodenkirchen/ Med360grad:

”Due to its high precision and speed we use the LNR very frequently and gladly. Adjustments of the needle and further control scans are not longer necessary. This also improves the patients acceptance and eases the therapy process. A far less radiation dose for the patient has also been discovered.”

Prof. Dr. med. Fischer, Darmstadt
