1. Compliance with laws and other regulations
In all business decisions and actions, ATLAS medical technologies GmbH endeavours to comply with the applicable laws and regulations in the Federal Republic of Germany and the EU. Integrity and honesty promote fair competition, also with regard to our customers and suppliers.
2. Commitment of the management
ATLAS medical technologies GmbH is committed to act economically, socially and ecologically. The company therefore strives to conduct its business in a competent and ethical manner and to protect fair competition in all markets in which it operates by complying with applicable antitrust, competition and restraint of trade laws. Unfair advantages over customers, suppliers or competitors must be avoided.
3. Conflicts of interest
ATLAS medical technologies GmbH expects loyalty to the company from its employees. All employees must avoid situations in which their personal or financial interests conflict with those of the company. In particular, it is therefore forbidden to participate in or enter into business relationships with competitors, suppliers or customers in a private environment if this could lead to a conflict of interest. Conflict situations must not impair the interests of ATLAS medical technologies GmbH.
Such conflicts of interest can occur in many situations: No employee may accept benefits in any form that are reasonably likely to interfere with the business decisions or transactions of ATLAS medical technologies GmbH. Invitations must be within the bounds of normal business hospitality. Employees should not, due to their position within ATLAS medical technologies GmbH, obtain any personal advantage directly and/or indirectly through access to confidential information. All employees have a duty to promote the legitimate interests of the company as far as possible. Any competition with other companies is to be avoided.
Any actual or potential conflict of interest must be reported and discussed with the management.
4. Ban on corruption
ATLAS medical technologies GmbH is against corruption and bribery. We will not tolerate any actions in which business is conducted with unfair means. Employees of the company may not offer, receive or accept advantages from business partners which could adversely affect an objective and fair business decision.
5. Fair working conditions
All employees of ATLAS medical technologies GmbH must ensure guidelines for health and safety at work at their workplace. Safety regulations and practices must be strictly observed.
As a socially responsible employer, the company considers its employees to be valuable and of great importance. The company demands great commitment from its employees and in return shares its business success with them. The personnel policy of ATLAS medical technologies GmbH contributes to offering every employee the opportunity for professional and personal development. The open exchange of opinions, criticism and ideas is encouraged.
ATLAS medical technologies GmbH condemns illegal discrimination or harassment of any kind.
6. Dealing with internal knowledge
All employees of ATLAS medical technologies GmbH are obliged to ensure a fast and smooth exchange of information within the company. Information must be transmitted correctly and completely to the departments concerned, unless in exceptional cases (especially due to confidentiality obligations) overriding interests exist. Relevant knowledge must not be unlawfully withheld, falsified or selectively transmitted.
Dishonest reporting within the company or to external organisations or persons is strictly prohibited. All financial statements and annual reports, business papers and books of the Company must accurately reflect business transactions and records.
In this regard, all legal regulations, accounting principles and internal accounting procedures of ATLAS medical technologies GmbH must be observed.
7. Handling of company property
All employees of ATLAS medical technologies GmbH are responsible for the careful handling of company property. Every employee is obliged to protect company property from loss, damage, misuse, theft, misappropriation or destruction. Every employee must inform his or her supervisor immediately of any misuse of company property.
8. Confidentiality and data protection
A large part of the business information of ATLAS medical technologies GmbH is confidential or legally protected, so that a duty of confidentiality exists. This does not apply if publication of the company’s information has been approved or is required by law or regulation.
The duty of confidentiality applies in particular to intellectual property. This includes trade secrets, patents, trademarks and copyrights, but also business and marketing plans, drafts, business papers, salary data and all other unpublished financial data and reports.
All personal information about employees, customers, business partners and suppliers as well as other third parties will be used carefully and treated confidentially by ATLAS medical technologies GmbH in compliance with the data protection laws. The protection of this information must be ensured with the utmost care.
9. Implementation and monitoring
The rules contained in this code of conduct are core components of the corporate culture of ATLAS medical technologies GmbH. It is essential that these principles are fully observed. Every employee is responsible for this.
If an employee has concerns or complaints regarding the points listed in this Code of Conduct or if he/she is aware of a possible violation of the Code of Conduct, he/she should immediately report this to his/her superior for clarification.
This can also be done anonymously or in a confidential manner. If an employee is not satisfied with the clarification, he or she may submit the concern or complaint not only to his or her supervisor but also to management. The Company does not permit retaliation for concerns or complaints raised in good faith under this Code of Conduct.
